💨 Abstract
The 48th International Kolkata Book Fair, set to start on January 28, will have Germany as the focal theme country. Bangladesh is absent from the list of participating countries due to current political tensions, with visa issues and safety concerns preventing their participation. The fair will still feature works by popular Bangladeshi writers through Indian publishers.
