💨 Abstract

Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud, stepping down after a year as the 50th head of Indian judiciary, expressed deep fulfillment for his work and serving the country. In his farewell speech, he shared that serving those in need and people he never knew was the greatest feeling for him. He also recounted his journey from a young law student to the top court and expressed gratitude to colleagues, senior advocates, juniors, officers, and staff.
