💨 Abstract

In Indore, Bhagirathpura is facing a severe outbreak of waterborne diseases due to sewage contamination in the drinking water supply. Hospitals are overwhelmed with patients suffering from diarrhea, vomiting, fever, and breathlessness. The government acknowledges four deaths, but locals claim the toll is higher. Residents, especially the elderly and daily-wage earners, are struggling, with some unable to afford clean water or medical care. The state has deployed additional resources to manage the crisis.
