💨 Abstract

On September 21, an 18-hour bandh was observed in Imphal Valley districts of Manipur due to a call by the National Revolutionary Front of Manipur (NRFM). The bandh, aimed at protesting against the 1949 merger agreement between Manipur's ruler and the Government of India, led to the closure of markets, business establishments, banks, and public transport.
