💨 Abstract

The North Goa collectorate received a bomb threat via email on Friday, prompting an immediate evacuation and search by the police. The email, sent by someone identifying as Utpal Laxman Rao, demanded the building be vacated by 3:30 pm. Police, led by Deputy Superintendent Sudesh Naik, carried out a thorough search with the bomb detection disposal squad. The threat is being treated seriously, though a past similar threat in Mapusa proved to be a hoax.
