Punjab farmer leaders have announced a meeting with the Centre to discuss their demands on February 14 in Chandigarh, following an invitation from the Ministry of Agriculture. Fasting farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal, who had been refusing medical aid, has agreed to take it after the announcement. The farmers had demanded an earlier meeting date due to the upcoming Republic Day and Delhi assembly polls.
