💨 Abstract

A 20-year-old woman, Rani Pradhan, died from severe burn injuries after allegedly setting herself on fire in Odisha's Ganjam district. The incident happened near the Panchayat Samity office in Berhampur Sadar police station area. Police suspect she took this drastic step due to alleged torture by her father and stepmother.
