Assistant Collector Ashwini Kumar Nayak and his driver were injured after a speeding truck hit their SUV on NH-16 in Jajpur district. The incident occurred while Nayak was traveling to Balasore from Bhubaneswar. The driver of the truck fled the scene. Locals rescued them, and they were taken to the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.
