In Odisha's Balasore district, a 19-year-old man named Sukuar Singh was convicted for kidnapping and raping a 15-year-old girl. The incident occurred in April while the girl was attending an opera. The court sentenced him to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 6,000.
