💨 Abstract

A medic on hunger strike over the rape and murder of a colleague at RG Kar Hospital in Kolkata was hospitalized on Thursday due to deteriorating health. The medic, Aniket Mahato, has been on strike since Saturday. A team of four specialist doctors from the state health department assessed the health condition of the seven striking doctors and suggested they be admitted to a hospital before their condition worsens.
