💨 Abstract

In its first meeting, parliament's Public Accounts Committee (PAC) unanimously adopted a resolution praising the armed forces for 'Operation Sindoor,' targeting terror sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The operation, conducted two weeks after a massacre in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, received support from all PAC members. PAC chairperson K C Venugopal also highlighted the committee's intention to focus on people-related issues and audit reports over the coming year.
