On May 15, the Assam Rifles conducted an operation in Manipur’s Chandel district, near the Indo-Myanmar border, resulting in the deaths of 10 militants. The encounter occurred in a remote, hilly area about 130 km from Imphal. The operation is still ongoing, and the identities of the neutralized militants have not yet been confirmed.
