💨 Abstract
During Durga Puja, Kolkata Metro saw over 50 lakh passengers, a 1.77% increase from the previous year. The Blue Line between Dakshineswar and New Garia had the highest traffic with 44.19 lakh passengers, followed by the Green Line 2 and Green Line-1. Dum Dum station recorded the highest footfall. The metro extended service hours and ran special services to accommodate the festive rush.
