AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi appeared in court in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh, on October 16, 2022, to give a statement regarding an attack on his convoy at the Pilkhuwa toll plaza in 2022. The attackers, Sachin Sharma and Shubham, opened fire on his car while he was traveling to Delhi. Both suspects were released on bail.
