💨 Abstract

Pakistan has responded to India's suspension of the 1960 Indus Waters Treaty (IWT) following a terror attack, expressing willingness to discuss India's concerns. Pakistan's Water Resources Secretary Syed Ali Murtaza, in a letter to his Indian counterpart, questioned the legality of India's move, asserting that the treaty has no exit clause. India, however, remains firm on its decision, citing sustained cross-border terrorism.
