💨 Abstract

On May 8, Pakistani troops resumed unprovoked shelling in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara and Baramulla districts along the Line of Control (LoC). The Indian armed forces responded effectively, with no reported casualties. On the previous night, Pakistan fired small arms and artillery in multiple sectors, and the Indian Army retaliated accordingly.
