💨 Abstract
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma highlighted that Pakistan's Balochistan province, despite being rich in minerals, remains highly neglected and underdeveloped. Sarma noted that Balochistan carries over 80% of Pakistan's mineral wealth, including massive reserves of copper and gold, as well as significant natural gas deposits. However, local communities benefit little from these resources, facing high poverty rates and insufficient access to basic infrastructure.
