💨 Abstract

The Manipur Cabinet has decided that residents of unrecognized villages in the state will no longer be eligible for government schemes, including MGNREGS. The decision follows accusations that some officials granted village recognition without government approval. The Cabinet also reviewed the disturbed area status in the state, discussed recruitment for various departments, appointments in the police department, and acquiring land for a police station.
