💨 Abstract
Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised an innovative initiative in Assam's Nagaon district where villagers planted Napier grass to feed elephants, reducing man-animal conflict. The 'Haathi Bandhu' (friends of the elephant) initiative has been successful in bringing relief to thousands of villagers as elephants visit fields less frequently. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma also lauded the initiative.
