Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra at the East Asia Summit in Vientiane. It was their first meeting. They discussed strengthening bilateral ties in various areas, particularly regional cooperation through BIMSTEC.
