💨 Abstract
A 150-year-old pond built by a landlord for his wife in Chhattisgarh's Durg district has never run dry and serves as the primary water source for local residents and surrounding villages during the summer season. The pond, known as 'Bade Talab', was built after the landlord's wife was ridiculed for having to walk to another village for a bath due to water scarcity.
