Haryana is conducting a population-based screening for early diagnosis and management of non-communicable diseases, including common cancers, for those aged 30 and above. About 80 million people have been screened so far, with a target of 110.6 million. The minister shared that physical inactivity, unhealthy diet, tobacco consumption, air pollution, and infections are the most common risk factors for NCDs, including cancers.
