On February 28, 11 construction workers were injured when a temporary support structure of a portico under construction at the University of Hyderabad campus collapsed. The accident occurred on Thursday night. The injured workers were treated and discharged from the hospital. The University Registrar confirmed no worker was trapped in the rubble. The incident was caused by an accidental contact between a boom pump and scaffolding, according to Central Public Works Department (CPWD) officials.
