💨 Abstract
A temple priest, Jayakumaran Namboothiri, died from severe burns sustained in a fire that broke out on October 1 due to gas leakage at the temple kitchen in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The 49-year-old was preparing offerings when the fire started, as shown in CCTV footage. He was treated at a private hospital but succumbed to his injuries. Police confirmed the cause of the fire.
