Private bus fares in Maharashtra have increased due to the upcoming assembly elections, as thousands of voters plan to travel to their native places. Approximately 5,000 private buses are expected to operate, connecting various cities like Ratnagiri, Dapoli, and Nashik, among others. The ticket prices have nearly doubled for November 19 and 20, with most buses being arranged by candidates or political parties.
