💨 Abstract

The Congress party announced that Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the party's general secretary, will contest the Wayanad Lok Sabha bypoll in Kerala, marking her electoral debut. This decision was made by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. Rahul Mamkootathil and Ramya Haridas were also announced as Congress candidates for by-elections in Palakkad and Chelakkara assembly constituency, respectively.
