💨 Abstract

The brother of slain sarpanch Santosh Deshmukh, Dhananjay Deshmukh, has claimed that the accused in his brother's murder could not have committed the crime without political protection. He demanded the immediate arrest of the absconding accused and strict punishment for all involved. Santosh Deshmukh was murdered allegedly in retaliation for preventing extortion attempts against an energy firm linked to a windmill project.
