💨 Abstract
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah launched the fifth stage of the Cauvery drinking water project at Thorekadanahalli, providing water to Bengaluru's peripheral areas. The project, funded by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), will fetch 775 MLD of water from 100 km away, benefiting 50 lakh people with 4 lakh new connections.
