Prosecution tried to frame 2006 Nanded blast accused, failed to prove alleged right-wing link: Court
💨 Abstract
A Maharashtra court acquitted nine individuals accused of having links to right-wing groups like RSS and VHP in the Nanded blast case. The court stated that the recovery of literature and communications related to these organizations does not constitute a conspiracy to commit a terrorist act, and the prosecution's claim of live bombs recovered from the blast site was unfounded. The defence had argued that the case was an attempt to portray Hindu terrorism falsely.
