A power outage at Sree Avittam Thirunal Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram lasted for nearly three hours, causing frustration among patients' families. The Health Minister has promised a probe and immediate restoration of power. The Leader of Opposition criticized the government for not shifting critical patients to other hospitals during the outage. The Kerala Electricity Board denies responsibility for the outage.
