💨 Abstract

A PTI reporter and cameraperson were assaulted and injured by a mob while covering a protest in Tonk district, Rajasthan, following the arrest of Independent MLA candidate Naresh Meena. The attack left both journalists badly injured, with their camera also being set on fire. The violence began when police tried to stop Meena's supporters from staging a sit-in on Wednesday evening.
