💨 Abstract

On January 8, Navdeep Singh Pannu, president of Sri Hargobindpur Municipal Council in Hoshiarpur, survived an assassination attempt when two motorcycle-borne assailants fired multiple shots at his vehicle on the Tanda-Shri Hargobindpur road. The attack occurred approximately 750 meters behind the inter-district checkpost. Five bullets hit the vehicle, but Pannu and his driver escaped unhurt.
