💨 Abstract

Punjab farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal, who has been on an indefinite hunger strike for 52 days, has lost approximately 20 kgs and shows signs of dehydration and a deteriorating health condition. His ketone level, an indicator of the body using stored fat for energy, is 6.50 mmol/L, significantly higher than the normal range of 0.02-0.27.
