💨 Abstract

Punjab Police has launched an internal police reforms project to transform citizen-centric policing, focusing on improving complaint registration, police response, behavior, and community engagement. The project will initially cover two districts and will eventually expand statewide. It aims to enhance professional standards, improve service delivery, and prioritize citizen rights. The project also includes the Saanjh initiative, which allows citizens to avail services online and at citizen-friendly Saanjh Kendras.
