President Droupadi Murmu and her Indonesian counterpart Prabowo Subianto used a traditional, gold-plated buggy for the 76th Republic Day parade, marking its return after a 40-year absence. The carriage, drawn by a mix of Indian and Austrian horses, is escorted by the President’s Bodyguard, the senior-most regiment of the Indian Army.
