Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw inspected the production of Vande Bharat 2.0 trains at the Integral Coach Factory in Chennai. The Vande Bharat 2.0 trains, scheduled to be lighter and faster, have advanced features like KAVACH, a train collision avoidance system, and can save up to 30% electrical energy. They will also have improved fire safety features and floodproofing mechanisms.
