Unidentified individuals attempted to derail trains in Gujarat's Surat district by tampering with a railway track. They removed fish plates and loosened bolts on the track. The sabotage was discovered by a lineman before a train could pass, and the railway authorities repaired the line. The police have launched an investigation into the matter.
