An initial joint probe into a coal-loaded train derailment near Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh suggests poor maintenance of the freight train as the cause. The North Central Railway, however, emphasizes that this is a preliminary opinion and the final report may differ. The derailment blocked three lines, causing cancellations and diversions of multiple trains, but no injuries were reported.
