Rain lashed Delhi and adjoining areas on Friday, causing traffic disruptions in several areas. The weather office issued an 'orange' warning and forecast more showers for the day. The national capital recorded 9.1 mm rainfall at Safdarjung, its primary weather station, while other areas recorded varying amounts. The minimum temperature was 11 degrees Celsius, above normal. The air quality was recorded in the 'very poor' category.
