💨 Abstract

In Rajasthan's Tonk district, Independent candidate for the Deoli-Uniara Assembly bypoll Naresh Meena was arrested and sent to judicial custody for 14 days on charges of violence and assaulting a sub-divisional magistrate during the election. The arrest followed a mob attack on a PTI reporter and cameraperson and the burning of their camera.
