💨 Abstract
A tigress from Madhya Pradesh’s Pench Tiger Reserve was released into Rajasthan’s Ramgarh Vishdhari Tiger Reserve as part of an inter-state reintroduction program. The three-year-old tigress, kept in a soft-release enclosure since December 22, was monitored by veterinarians and biologists before being released. She exited the enclosure on Sunday morning. The tigress will be tracked using radio telemetry and field surveillance to ensure her adaptation to the new habitat.
