Ratan Tata, chairman emeritus of Tata Sons, India's largest conglomerate, is critically ill in a Mumbai hospital, according to two sources. Tata, 86, had previously reported undergoing routine medical checks due to age-related conditions. The business tycoon, who ran the company for over two decades, has been conferred with the title of chairman emeritus of various Tata Group companies.
