💨 Abstract
Rescue operations in a flooded coal mine in Assam's Dima Hasao district entered its seventh day on Sunday. Nine laborers are trapped inside, with four bodies recovered so far. Dewatering is ongoing, and the final stage is expected within 36 hours. The mine, abandoned 12 years ago, was not illegal. The leader of the workers has been arrested, and investigations are ongoing.
