💨 Abstract

Agitating doctors in Kolkata have been pressing the West Bengal government to issue a "no-objection certificate" for the CBI to investigate financial irregularities at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. They have also requested the CBI to expedite its investigation into a rape and murder case at the hospital. Their demands were made to the Chief Secretary and officers at the CBI's CGO Complex office, but the Chief Secretary did not meet them.
