The CBI has written to West Bengal Health Secretary NS Nigam, seeking explanations as to why officials involved in the RG Kar Hospital corruption case are still in key positions. The Calcutta High Court previously ordered the transfer of the probe to the CBI, which is also investigating the rape and murder of an on-duty trainee at the hospital.
