💨 Abstract

A junior doctor in Kolkata, Pulasha Acharya, was hospitalized after his health deteriorated during a fast-unto-death protest. This is the fourth such hospitalization among the agitating junior doctors who are demanding justice for a raped and murdered woman medic, improved security, and other reforms in the healthcare system. The protest, initially involving 11 doctors, began after a fellow medic was raped and murdered at RG Kar Hospital in August.
