💨 Abstract

Junior doctors in Kolkata are on an indefinite fast-unto-death, demanding justice for a colleague who was raped and murdered at a state-run hospital. Another doctor observing the fast was hospitalized on Saturday, and medics from private hospitals have called for a 48-hour "partial cease work" in solidarity. The doctors are also demanding the removal of a health secretary and workplace security.
