💨 Abstract

Jammu and Kashmir Congress team was stopped by police from reaching Katra to support protests against a proposed ropeway project near the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi shrine. The two-day shutdown saw a hunger strike by youths demanding release of detained individuals. The team, led by Raman Bhalla and Yogesh Sawhney, was stopped at the Ban toll plaza without explanation.
