💨 Abstract
In Maharashtra, police have dismantled an international syndicate that defrauded over 200 crore rupees from hundreds of people through fake online forex and gold trading schemes. Seven individuals have been arrested, with the masterminds believed to be operating from abroad. The fraudsters used matrimonial and social media platforms to gain trust before luring victims into fraudulent investments. The police are tracing the money trail and coordinating with various state departments to identify overseas handlers.
