💨 Abstract
In Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, local officials seized Rs 40 lakh in cash from a car during a vehicle check as part of the model code of conduct for the assembly elections. The car's occupants claimed the money belonged to the Bidkin-based Vyankatesh Multistate Co-Operative Credit Society, but its lack of a QR code prompted authorities to hold it for further investigation.
